Another poster had Emerson Hancock (and Noelvi) as the primary returns along with a couple "other" guys for Jose Ramirez. Your deal has Julio Rodriguez and two or three other guys for Jose.... These two deals could be mixed together or combined to create a deal that the Indians would be advised to complete.. The Indians would add a pair of guys like Amed Rosario and JC Mejia (about 13.4 MM) to even out the value.. Simply stated: Guardians/Indians get Julio Rodriguez and Emerson Hancock 95.6 Seattle Mariners get Jose Ramirez, Amed Rosario and J.C. Mejia 96.8 The addition of DeLoach & Toro are interesting enough and could be the "throw in".. but, there is zero interest in Seager &/or Margevicius.. It should be noted that this is a post world series deal..

I saw that other deal, but I don’t think Cleveland would have much interest in Marte given the plethora of middle infield prospects they already have, at least not the level of interest that a guy like Rodriguez would bring. I threw in Toro to fill the 3B void (putting Nolan Jones in corner OF most likely) and Deloach as he has hit at every level of the minors and is an OF. I am not going to lie, I only threw in Margevicius because he is from my hometown (right outside of Cleveland) and why not haha. At the end of the day, I think these two teams match up very well for a potential deal involving Jram, given Seattle’s needs and Seattle’s depth in the minors at OF (something Cleveland is sorely lacking).

Agree about Noelvi.. an excellent young SS prospect.. but still more than a year away & another middle infielder to add to the Indians' excess... Ha Ha.. about Margevicius.. getting a home-boy is worth the keystrokes !!.. -and yes.. agree about the matchup.. certainly they have pieces the could be moved that would help both clubs.. -and correct about Toro might be deemed excess by the M's and well worth consideration by the tribe.. good response....
