5I still don't think Cleveland would do this cause they don't want to part with Rocchio...
Only matters what Chernoff and Antonetti think, I suppose. There’s still plenty of middle infield depth
From everything I heard, they aren't willing to part with Rocchio...
I’m assuming you’re not in a he room when those discussions take place. Good to know your opinion but, again, not the opinion that matters
Meisel stated Espino, Williams and Valera weren't available in the Murphy deal from his Intel. Another writer that knows the Guardians said Rocchio unlikely would be including Rocchio as well. Trust me on this one, if there was a deal within reason from the Guardians standpoint, Murphy would be in Cleveland already. Murphy isn't in Cleveland because Oaklands price was above anything Cleveland or any other team wanted to pay. Cleveland isn't going to raise their offer and this would be a raise of their offer in a sense... Plus now, this deal is obsolete, since Jones and Vargas aren't even in Cleveland anymore haha Oakland also wouldn't be putting a 14 value RP back for Murphy either. They need SPs in their farm, so they gotta get a good SP back for Murphy and this deal doesn't work for that.
