2Think I might rather have Cassie than Ballesteros (your other deal), but I can’t thumbs up either, since it’s just too much pen to give up in one go.
I think if Giants are shopping Doval (I doubt they are) then they should sign Tanner Scott. And imo Giants have a deep bullpen and could handle the losses, Cubs pen was horrible last year and they need to address it in a big way. I’d prefer Ballesteros over Caissie, but I think he’d be a tougher get. He could pair with Bailey, and split the rest of the time with Eldridge at 1B and DH.
