It wouldn't be a "proper" A's trade if it wasn't slightly underwhelming. Aidan Miller (3B) and Justin Crawford (CF) both reached AA and play at positions of need for the A's. Adding Marchan improves the team behind the plate and may open up the option of shopping Langeliers. Wen Hui Pan is an intriguing arm that doesn't require a spot on the 40 man.
