Cleveland wouldn't touch CJ Abrams with a ten foot pole after his recent actions... Those are the guys Cleveland dumps as soon as possible if they ever have one in their organization. That negates the deal right there... Let's say IF Abrams didn't have that issue... Cleveland would be wanting way more than this for Clase... They are gonna want Abrams plus a top 100 SP prospect and likely one of those catchers Nationals just drafted... Edit: I'll post something Cleveland would want to do IF they want to try and get Clase...
If the Nationals want Clase, and, if the Guardians want Abrams, a straight 1 for 1 swap would get it done.
Cleveland doesn't want anything to do with Abrams... Anytime a player pulls a stunt like that in Cleveland they immediately try to trade them and if they can't, they would cut them... Abrams would have been trade or DFA'D by now in Cleveland... Plus Abrams by himself wouldn't be enough to get Clase... Cleveland isn't going to trade him unless they get what they exactly want and the Nats don't have that by themselves anyways...
