How do the Rays trade $100MM to Seattle and not come away with the best players in Seattle’s system at positions the Rays need? Rays don’t need pitching next year. Take Woo out. Cole young doesn’t profile as an elite defender at SS. Take him out. Rays need an elite defensive SS with a bat (maybe that could be Celesten). They need outfield help (Montes). And they need a catcher, which you’ve covered. They really don’t need Rojas or Williamson, and Woo is a luxury they can’t afford at the cost of Lowe or Paredes
