Rays need to add some velo to their Pen, and both Klein and Cerantola have it. The Royals need to improve their Pen at minimal cost given the overall state of their Farm, and acquiring 2.5 years of Adam (the Rays' set up man) is a good starting point. While this trade appears to undersell Adam some, the potential for the Rays to still develop Klein into a starter makes the trade a no-brainer.
