4Down vote for Oakland. The A's should require that any prospects they get for Blackburn are healthy enough to play baseball.
Also the Braves have plenty of righty 5th starters already
Looking it up, that team's AAA roster has several possible 5th guys that have played on the big club before. It's AJ Smith-Shawver, Bryce Elder, Huascar Ynoa, Dylan Dodd (lefty) and Darius Vines. Alan Winans was just called up. What's the greater benefit of trading for Paul Blackburn?
Greater benefit? He is most likely superior to any of those options for a playoff contender & it keeps their depth in tact. But Grover’s thoughts are an excellent point.
