1let me start by saying this. I am LOW on Leo Jimenez, I mean lowwww. Like I don't think he's a top 20 prospect. I saw him once in spring training and he just had no clue how to hit. But low (ha) and behold he's the Jays #5 prospect. Are we f%&king nuts? But I digress. For Giants Fans, Leo Jimenez. 22 years old from Panama. SS/2B with a 55-grade Field and 55-grade arm. If you don't know that means pretty fucking good in the field. His hit grade is 55 which is think is incredibly too high. But I'm not a scout. Anyways, The Jays have a surplus of INF and Leo is just getting buried day after day. I think our friends the Giants would love him. Let's be real guys, your team made some good moves this offseason. But if they crap out, y'all are selling. Why not get a 22-year-old top-5 prospect who's already in AAA in your system? Might as well be ready for it. Once Luciano graduates your next INF prospects are in ROK Ball. He's a gap-to-gap slash hitter with a 2:1 Strikeout to walk ratio. He's not gonna hit homruns but he will give you 13-15 OAA. Did I mention he's a top 5 prospect? For Jays Fans. Grant McCray. 23 years old in A+ playing CF. L/R sicko with sport tires for legs. He's the Giants #15 prospect, formally their #7 in 2023. Wait how did he fall 8 spots? I'll tell ya. He strikeouts. Alot. Almost 30% (wow). Why do I like him? Well I'd say his ceiling is Charlie Blackmon and his floor is Ramon Laureno. This kid has raw, untapped power mixed with 55 grade Field and Arm. An easy 20-20-20 guy (HRs, 2B, SB) and honestly, he's probs more 30-30-30. But yes he strikeouts. If he drops it like 4-7% he's in AAA. If he knocks it down 10% he's your starting CF. So much to like and totally worth the risk. The Jays drafted Dasan Brown and are building him up, why not get the lefty version. Between Daulton Varsho and Kevin Keirmaier, the Jays obvi have a new crush for their outfielders. McCray (and Dasan Brown) fit it to a tee. Will Bednar. 23 year old SP in A+. Former 26 overall giants prospect, now off the 30. Shocker. That's what happens when you get hurt. Anywho. I don't want him as a starter. He's got electric stuff that'll play as a strikeout machine RP/CP. You may remember him at Mississippi State. He was Gross, that's why he went 14th overall. He's an absolute psychopath with a frisbee slider and a triple-digit fastball. Sound familiar?. As he progresses he'll rehone his changeup or just drop it completely for something else. Time will tell. But I like my closers crazy, and He is the floor model I wanna take home today. So to recap. Jays #5 for Giants #15 and #31-35(?) "haha FLEECE", is it tho?
