4In my mind, this is a mid-season trade, when Harper is back.
The Red Sox could be willing to make this trade because there is so little risk.
With the LH hitting Casas and Hosmer already on the team I think I’d rather keep the 19yr old Perales then get another LH 1B/DH

You may be a bit too optimistic in assuming Hosmer will hit. And Casas is a non-power guy who plays a power hitting position.
